Three-Dimensional Lion Collages
Inside the lesson
Children looked closely at the lion’s round face, ears, eyes and mane. They painted the face and background before building up their collages.
They tore paper into strips for the manes and added facial features with googly eyes, clay and textured materials. Their choices of colour and texture gave each lion its own expression.
