Rocky-coastline class: clay rocks and fluid painting

Hi Mum, Today we made a rocky coastline! 🌊 We mixed clay with salt to create the rough texture of the rocks, then used fluid painting to capture the movement of the sea and waves. We also explored how the rocks and water overlap along the shore.

She was curious about how the materials changed and really enjoyed experimenting with the different textures. She chose where the rocks and water would go, and was excited to see the flat canvas take shape as a three-dimensional coastline!
