Recognising Emotions Through Colour and Faces

Children explored facial expressions, then used colour and line to show different feelings. Backgrounds in red, pink and purple helped set the mood of each piece.

They added raised eyes, mouths and hair using clay, paper strips, string and googly eyes. By arranging these details, they explored how a face can express different emotions.
